Kuittila

Kuittila deposit is located 25 kilometres northeast of the nearest town Ilomantsi and 31 kilometres south of Pampalo mine. It is the southernmost Endomines claim area in Karelian gold line. Kuittila deposit comprises a set of discontinuous carbonate-quartz vein systems and disseminations in shear zone between tonalite and schists. Four separate vein systems have been recognized within outcrops at the Kuittila prospect. Gold deposit has been identified and drilled within a zone several hundred metres wide and about 1 kilometre long at the north-south trending contact zone between Kuittila Tonalite and the Hattu schist belt.

Exploration

Kuittila deposit was discovered 1984 by Geological Survey of Finland during a follow-up survey to determine source for scheelite grains and tungsten and molybdenum anomalies in till. A detailed geochemical till sampling was carried out. Later, year 1985-1987 GSF drilled 20 diamond drill-holes (2727 metres), which intersected the mineralisation. Endomines has been the claim holder since 2006. Year 2007 Endomines drilled 6 diamond drillholes at the area (641 metres). The best intersection in these drilling was 5,25 metres grading 4,8 g/t gold. Deeper in the same hole there was also an intersection of 6,85 metres grading 2,3 g/t gold.

Classification of Mineral Resources

Kuittila deposit has not JORC-compliant resource estimate. A non classified tonnage for the deposit is 275 000 tons grading 2,6 g/t gold.
